The 2nd International Photography Annual (INPHA 2) is a picture-rich art book representing a wide array of contemporary photography made by working artists of all levels of professional achievement from around the world. All works featured were selected through a competitive peer-review jury process by academic and professional volunteers committed to identifying the best works, regardless of style, subject, or genre. These jurors included professors, professional artists, art historians, and designers.

For those wishing to get a sense of what is being done today in the field of photography at the international level, the INPHA is an excellent first resource!

The publication is intended to serve as an experience much like a gallery exhibition, with priority given to the large full-color images and many full page details of the photographs. This allows for a page-by-page discovery of the creativity, intellect, and craftsmanship of each work represented. As an 'exhibition in print' the INPHA gathers a diverse set of works and presents them in such a way that their page-to-page sequence makes the overall experience of the book even more inspiring than do the individual works alone.

The award winning International Photography Annual (INPHA) is a complementary project to the ongoing award-winning International Drawing Annual (INDA) launched in 2005. The goal of the INPHA is to support the recognition, documentation, and publication of excellent, current, and relevant works of photography from around the world.

For the INPHA 2, Manifest's jury reviewed 681 photography submissions from 243 artists from 40 states and 19 countries. The 114 page publication includes 65 works by 45 artists from 12 states and 5 countries including England, China, the Slovic Republic, South Africa and the United States. An introduction by Manifest's Executive Director, Jason Franz is also included. Twelve professional and academic advisors qualified in the fields of art, design, criticism, and art history juried the project.
